Hello there

Jim Minton is a new writer of fiction, based in London but raised in the North East of England. On this website you can read his published works, which are mostly - but not all - darkly funny tales of growing up in Northumberland. You can also find out about Undertone, his new novel and read more about Jim, if you wish. All works are his copyright. So you can't pretend they are yours, even if you want to!

A new story published by Liars League

Had a new story read out at Liar's League last week. A bit intense but see what you think. The link to the video of the reading is also below. Sarah Feather reads it fantastically well. She held the audience superbly. Anyway, enjoy:

A new story - reading in Greenwich 29 August 2012

Yes, it's true. After a period of inactivity on the blog, I am reading out a new story this wednesday 29 August at the MVMNT cafe in Greenwich. The evening is at a pop up arts centre, and the invitation came through Liars' League. Don't know how many people will be there, but it will be a fun thing to try. And I think the story is OK. Details about the café can be found at twitter.com/MVMNTcafe and facebook.com/MVMNTcafe. The website for the project is www.themovementgreenwich.com. I will post the story on this site afterwards, and will update as to how I got on.
